Turnover is tough, but within each tough situation we can grow.
When it comes to turnover, we have a golden opportunity to grow quite a bit, with clarity and purpose by collecting the experience, reason for departure and constructive feedback on what we could have done better or what we have done very well.
The problem is that many businesses allow pride to stomp out their chance to acquire or act on the humbling feedback that points us directly to where our improvement opportunity lives. We absolutely should be taking the time to check in with those that have given notice of their leaving.
